Metalcaucho has been creating spare parts and rubber and metal accessories for the automotive industry for more than 30 years, working with virtually all the global brands. We control the entire process, from initial part design through to mass production. Our exhaustive control system guarantees continuous quality in all production processes and has made us an industry first-in-class. In a special catalog 35 pneumatic columns and 49 air springs are presented. Each spare part is delivered with a thorough instruction manual QUALITY CONTROL We are new ISO 9001 v2015-certified, thanks to our efforts to adapt from ISO 9001 v2008. All customer-reported incidents are referred to the production department and we make sure that both preventive and corrective actions are implemented. Our quality system, organisation, production and processes are audited on a regular basis. We place emphasis on all concepts of quality and lean manufacturing. From development through to mass production, we perform the following controls in order to guarantee the established quality standard: Thermal analysis of elastomer and plastic composition; infra-red spectroscopy for polymer identification; compressive and tensile strength testing; 3D laser scanning for dimensional control; soft and hard material hardness testing; dynamic, static, water/airtightness tests, etc.
